Digital Mappaemundi (DM) is a project targeted at the challenges of studying medieval maps and geographic texts, with broader application to any source material combining images and text. Currently, we are focused on developing an open-source user interface library to support the annotation of images and texts and to enable scholars to create on-line networks of source material germane to their research, teaching, etc.
