"Zum Abschluss des Jubiläumsjahres, mit dem das Robert Koch-Institut 2016 sein 125-jähriges Bestehen gefeiert hat, stehen nun die Briefe Robert Kochs online zur Verfügung. Die mehr als 200 handschriftlichen Briefe an Kollegen, darunter Paul Ehrlich und Friedrich Loeffler, wurden transkribiert und in elektronische Form überführt. Die Briefe sind über den Publikationsserver des Robert Koch-Instituts abrufbar (Link siehe unten). Zudem wurden bereits zehn Briefe an Robert Koch transkribiert und sind an gleicher Stelle online verfügbar."

Project: Colonial North American Project

"This website provides access to some of the remarkable materials digitized as part of the ongoing, multi-year Colonial North American Project at Harvard University.

When complete, the project will make available to the world digitized images of all known archival and manuscript materials in the Harvard Library that relate to 17^th and 18^th century North America. Scattered through twelve repositories, these documents reveal a great deal about topics such as social life, education, trade, finance, politics, revolution, war, women, Native American life, slavery, science, medicine, and religion. In addition to reflecting the origins of the United States, the digitized materials also document aspects of life and work in Great Britain, France, Canada, the Caribbean, and Mexico. The ‘Essays’ on this website are the work of a Summer 2015 Arcadia Fellow, Alicia DeMaio, who was one of the first researchers to connect thematically related material from among the images digitized to date."

"Cambridge University Library holds the largest and most important collection of the scientific works of Isaac Newton (1642-1727). Newton was closely associated with Cambridge. He came to the University as a student in 1661, graduating in 1665, and from 1669 to 1701 he held the Lucasian Chair of Mathematics. Under the regulations for this Chair, Newton was required to deposit copies of his lectures in the University Library. These, and some correspondence relating to the University, were assigned the classmarks Dd.4.18, Dd.9.46, Dd.9.67, Dd.9.68, and Mm.6.50.

"The Swiss Poster Collection is a critical selection of posters dating from 1970 to 2011. It was established by Swiss graphic designer Ruedi Ruegg and Professor Daniel Boyarski in 1985 as a teaching collection. Ruegg selected the posters and added to the Collection each year. The Collection contains works by designers such as Bill, Bruhwiler, Kulling, Leupin, Muller-Brockmann, Pfund, Ruegg, Troxler, and Weingart. Swiss posters are created for a variety of purposes, and use form, color, image, and typography to communicate ideas. They are immediate in impact, spontaneous, and often playful or humorous.
